Ate there a many a day going to Gordon with a buddy that has land down there. They seem to always get the order wrong even to this day. But what fast food restaurant doesn't lol

Chick-fil-a

I believe this was the original one in North Alabama, opened in 1961.

I drove through at lunch one day, ordered, pulled up to the window and paid, and the girl closed the window. No drink, no "I'm sorry, we're busy, it's coming" or anything. After the third song ended on the radio while I sat at the window, meaning at least 7-8 minutes if not more just at the window, I pulled up, got out and walked inside.

I wasn't mad ... yet. But I wanted to see the manager and asked specifically for her. From the back I hear a voice say, "Yeah, who is it and what do they want?" That's when I got mad. And admittedly I acted like an ass chewing her AND her staff out at the counter in front of everyone for being slow, uncaring to the customers paying their salaries, and everyone in there waiting on them should walk out. Left my food on the counter, too.

I think I have been in there once since then. That was at least 20 years ago.


Taco Bell in Hampton Cove, about 5-7 years ago, had sewage back up through its drain pipes in the kitchen. Mmmm ... enjoy the Chitaritacos.

I was in foosaklys a few weeks ago, it's a local chicken finger chain that always has good food and service almost on par with chick filet. I ordered and was waiting when they kept calling out a guys name for his order but he never came up. They were pretty busy so after a few minutes a guy comes up from outside with a bag of food to return because he had the wrong order. It was the guy they were looking for so they took his bag and gave him the correct bag. Then the girl took the bag he had just brought in from outside and tried to give it to the lady next in line. She refused it and made them make her a new order but they acted like there was no problem with giving food some random guy brought inside to another customer.

I went through Chick Fil A drive through yesterday because I had a hankering for a chocolate shake. She asked me if I wanted a cherry on it and I told her no. When I drove up to the window they handed me a chocolate shake with a cherry on top. The second she handed it to me she realized she had given me the shake that the guy behind me ordered. She took it back and handed me my shake with no cherry on it, and immediately took the top off of the one I handed her back and poured it out and started making another one.

Chick Fil A is by far the best fast food restaurant in the nation.
