I've got a lot of these stories. I'm in the commercial tile business. Churches Chicken in Selma was the worst. Got called to come look at doing a QT patch, I just turned around and left. You would need a wrecking ball to de-grease that place.

You people will freaking ruin anything, first Tilapia,now all fast food! LOL

Surprise, surprise, that is the #1 Churches in the country by volume of chicken sold. It's good too and they seldom get your order wrong. It is greasy looking though.

McDonalds in Chelsea several years ago. I went through the drive through and ordered a Dr. Pepper. I get to the window and the lady asks if I ordered a Dr Pepper or a Diet Dr Pepper. I told her regular Dr Pepper. The manager lady standing behind her takes a swig of a drink and says "Yeah that's regular Dr Pepper" as she hands it to the lady at the window who hands it out the window to me. Needless to say, I declined and drove off.

Well, the cows, dogs, cats and rats and maybe even the Chinese serving them, have probably shat on it.

I found a spider in my salsa at ixtapa on 280 a few years back.

I just thought of another one.The Calico Kitchen in Marion at the intersection of hwy 5 and hwy 14 had a roach stuck to the ceiling for many years.One year they came in and gave the place a facelift.They painted over the roach and unless something has happened to it lately it is still there.I havent eaten in there in a few years but last time I was there it was still there.We named the roach "Fred" and when we would go eat there we would always say 'Hey! yall wanna go eat lunch with Fred?"

It seems like all the GWs like to hit the Calico. The food is waaayyy better across the street at Willard's and they have a killer bacon cheeseburger.

My wife and I were shown to our table....I pointed out a dead fly on the table...Hostess proceeded to flick the fly off with the menu.....

There used to be a Golden Corral in Hueytown quite a few years ago (where Habaneros is now). I’m eating a salad one time, I felt something chewy in it, so I spit it out – it was previously chewed chewing gum. They gave me/us a coupon for the next meal to be free, but I don’t think we ever went back.
Not sure if the place is still there, but used to be a Max’s cafeteria on Hwy 31 in Pelham/Alabaster area, this was around 1995. I’m eating collard greens and bite down on something hard, ended up being a piece of broken glass. Did not have to pay for that meal.

I bet all of y'all have eaten potatoes and sausage and crawfish off a nasty old picnic table too. It's the same thing. Just pick the hair off and you'll be fine

Many years ago, a buddy of mine and I spent an august day building a shooting house on some property above troy. My buddy spent the day drinking and by the time we get back to Dothan he was well lit. We pull into the Hardee's beside SAMC and go through the drive thru, my buddy goes to cussing the teller and calling them all kinds of names. It was so bad the employees open the back door and just stares at him but it doesn't slow him down. Anyway when he gets through ordering he looks over at me and asks, "do you want anything? " lol heeeeelllllll no.


Btw he was drinking and driving, we were young and dumb.

Oh snap.... I had the same dang thing happen to me at the exact same McDonalds. I ordered Coke for my son and I sat there and watched her put Diet Coke in the cup. I told her it was diet and she snatched the top off and took a gulp and said it was not Diet Coke.

I mean the EXACT same McDonalds.
