Had a couple buddy's who set up on multiple gobbling birds one morning. After a hr and a half of them not budging they slipped to the edge of the field which was property line. That's when they saw them strutting in a pen. They felt like retards for sure.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

I was confused the first time I hunted a place cause I gave an owl hoot and 4 gobblers gobbled right at my truck...apparently I had parked next to the pen...I was so riled up I even set up on what I thought was a turkey and it turned out to be a lil pack of Guineas (first time I'd seen one of them...) next time I went tho, the pen raised birds made a wild gobbler gobble and I killed it 15 min later

I wasn't the landowner, he set up on neighbors tame birds right off the line. Bad thing is we moved up several times when he wouldn't budge...last time we could see him in the pen. He was having a dang fit to get out. My buddy said if he gets out I'm shooting......I laughed all the way to town. I think he knew the pen was there and just forgot about it......
