Congrats on all the catches!

Brenda you should have that one tanned to go in the shop.

I caught two male coyotes this week. i pulled all my traps but the three where I've caught a good bit this year by the pond. I caught one Wednesday and one this morning. I'm sorry for the picture of the one Wednesday my phone died right after I took it. The one this morning I was able to get a good picture.

Wednesday's coyote

This morning coyote

decided to hunt "the legend" one day after a morning sit. back around '08 or so, there was a tripod on the field. about noon, i look up and see a real pretty black yote in the middle. popped it with the .243 and it spun around and ran. never could find it. have had several (or maybe just one in multiple areas) on camera.

I put the old girl on the scale and she weighed 70 pounds. One of the biggest I have ever caught.

i wish one of y'all two lived close, i'd be paying for yall to catch my yotes. i bought the stuff to get started, but time is the hold up. cant understand why folks are not willing to pay a trapper. have been steadily working on the coons and opossums tho

The days getting longer is helping me some with trapping. The beaver job I started Saturday is 30 miles away, I left the house this morning at about 4:40 and was on the water about 5:15. I was able to get the traps checked by 6:00 and make it to work by 6:30.

was out of town but Austin checked the traps for us. had a female on April 11:

thought i had a mating pair running together so i was hoping to catch a male. yesterday, i had another female in the trap:

she had a nasty ol' tick attached under her eye. double gross sick.
