What did we get out of the moon?

NASA has never spent a trillion dollars. Their budget is much less than 1% of the total budget.

There are at least 10 Corporate Welfare policies that are more than the NASA budget. Farm Subsidies are just one of those.

The technology that they inspire impacts everything almost everything you do from the bed you sleep on, the food you eat, GPS, Communications, Energy, Mapping, Disaster Preparedness , Health Care and the list goes on and on.

I only wish other government agencies were as beneficial as good of an investment as NASA.

It's obvious that you are ignorant of all the good that has come from NASA. Perhaps you should consider saving yourself more embarrassment and actually research the products, medicines, scientific discoveries, etc that we have via NASA. Otherwise, yes, you present yourself as a dumbass.

Money spent on something that seems like trivial pursuits led to us living here with clean water, easy food, and interwebs. The Queen of Italy gave Christopher Columbus a bunch of money to pursue a trivial pursuit, look how that turned out.
