This election will effect this country for the next 25 + years! So you are voting for your kids and their kids. BINGO !!!!! Might just be the most important election in our life time Which is why I wanted a conservative constitutionalist as our nominee, but now I have Donald freaking Trump somehow. Well we didn't get our conservative constitutionalist, so now we have a choice of a lifelong politician with an absolutely horrible point of view with an equally horrible track record, or a wildcard. One or another of the two is going to rest their butt in the Oval Office. You already know what you're going to get with Hitlery, and how it will affect this country for decades, possibly even centuries. If anyone has kids or grandkids, I don't see how they could NOT vote AGAINST Hillary. Trump may be Satan in disguise or he could be just what we need right now. Like you, I don't trust him either, but I DAMNED sure don't want another Clinton in DC. Some of you would rather see your rights and your heirs rights stripped away possibly for as long as we're living, than to take a chance on maybe something better. It is still a stretch to imagine it could be worse. WOW!!! The problem with the whole Trust Trump and hope he means what he says this year thing Is that he will be known as a Republican. If he Donald's this up and it is a disaster we won't win another election for many many years. If Hillary wins her years will be worse than Obama and she will be gone in 4 yrs and people will be begging a Republican to come on down. I really don't know which would be worse in the long run As I stated in original post, new President gets to pick 3 Justices and they decide.
Is it Hunting Season Yet?

Unless the Senate and House somehow are controlled by the so-called Republicans (a bunch of moderate and liberal turds), Trump will not be able to do a thing, and may have a hard time doing anything if the Republicans can control both. They have proven to be a bunch of weaklings in the peoples eyes. They have done nothing the last 8 years and it doesn't appear they're going to do anything in the future, except bicker. The Dem's will fight Trump and the weaklings tooth and nail on everything, and will make him totally ineffective (have to give it to the Dems, at least they will fight). If Hillary were to win, it won't matter who controls the Senate and the House, the Republicans have proven how ineffective they are and I don't see that changing. If it were to change, maybe some hope.
Folks, either way, we're screwed. And it's the peoples fault. Not the President's and not Congress. We as a country have allowed this to happen. This country will continue to move toward the One World Government, like it or not. The only way we can be saved from this or at least have it delayed, will be intervention by God. How long will He continue to have patience and exhibit mercy on the United States of America? That's where our hope lies. Men and women died for us to have the right to vote and I would never, in no way, condone anyone "not voting." I truly do not think it's going to matter which box we pick on the ballot at this point, but I will vote and pick one, even if I have to write someone in. No vote is a wasted vote.
I will continue to pray and pray and pray. After the election, I will continue to pray and pray and pray. My Bible says to always put your faith in God, and not man. God places leaders in their positions. He can place them to lead in prosperous times; He can place them to lead through difficult and trying times; He can place them to save a nation, and; He can place them to bring His judgment on a nation. All I can ask is that He have mercy on our country and by His hand turn us around to be the godly, patriotic nation we once were.

I'm gonna laugh my ass of when Trump tries to take your guns. And ignores the border and flips on every issue you voted for him on.
His history says he will and I believe in my heart he isn't the person you or many others think he is.
I've got nothing more to add to the issue. I'm not gonna laugh, I'm going to be terribly sad, and will directly blame every person I know who voted for trump. I am very hopeful we are wrong So you think everyone should vote for Hillary and it will be alright????

The thing I know for sure is the America of my youth has slowly been dying for sometime and will never return. This makes me sad. How can a nation this divided stand much longer? If a correction is coming, then better we defend your beliefs than our kids or grandkids. True..Our moral compass is fugged up! I'm a 2nd Amendment guru, but damn that's all that folks seem to worry/talk about is this President gonna take our guns smdh..And Too hell with all the moral issues that threatens our families & Country... It is the Churches job to be the moral compass not the government. If the people that make up the church would spend as much time telling people about Jesus as they do hunting, fishing and talking politics our country would not be in this condition. The elected officials are a mirror of our population......Christians are a minority in the US and the is the root problem. Candidates like Cruz and Carson don't stand a chance until the heart and soul of this nation is turned back to God. People need to stop thinking government is going to fix this problem.....

That blame lies directly on the Republican party's inability to fill campaign promises and apathy among the voter base.

First question of the first debate of the General Election....
"Donald, have you ever tossed monkeys?"
"I have and let me tell you I've tossed so many monkeys, I'm the best monkey tosser on this stage.
In fact I've got people in Washington tossing monkeys right now; and you know what? They only toss the best monkeys and if I become President I'm gonna toss the most monkeys out of anybody and the people are going to love my monkeys, they will be the most beautiful monkeys.
AND the government will PAY for those monkeys to be tossed. In fact the Monkeys will be tossed 10 feet higher and we'll have MEXICO pay for those high tossed monkeys! Its going to be beautiful, fantastic, the best, we're going to win again at tossing monkeys."
And all the Trump fans go "Oh my god, this man is going to make monkey tossing great again"
Yeah, well, I always heard there were three kinds of suns in Kansas: sunshine, sunflowers, and sons-of-bitches.

I will be voting for Trump. All I know for sure is this....I would rather roll the dice with 4-8 years of Trump than 1 frigging day of Hillary Clinton!!! That's the truth, and it's a crying damn shame that the best this Nation could come up with on both sides is Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton...it's like someone said "go find the two most despicable people you can find, and we'll run them for President!" I think this might be the one case in my life where it's actually "Better the devil you DON'T know"!

I've typed out a response 4 times now and it totally comes across as ugly, Holier-than-thou and haughty no matter how I reword it. So here it is anyway.
So of y'all are just stupid or ignorant...not sure which...to not understand why some people will refuse to vote for Trump. It may be that some of y'all with such large opinions of us have very little capability to understand the concepts of Principle and Honor. I do not normally post such aggressive posts and sling names, but today I can't help it.
If you line up with Trumps values, vision and plans for America then I have zero problems with you voting for him. If you think he is the lesser of two evils and will support him no matter what so that Hillary will not be elected, then I have zero problems with you voting like that. Vote your damn conscience!
Many of us, including myself, do our best to live, act and vote on a certain set of principles and values. Since there is no such thing as a perfect candidate, we have to decide where the line is on compromise. I begrudge NO ONE who decides to support Trump. Their call, their decision. But for some of us, Trump doesn't even come close to the line where we could knowingly support him for President.
I for one refuse to vote for anyone who does not at least meet the majority of the Principles and Values I hold as important. Trump has done zero to persuade me. If any of y'all have been paying attention over the years, you know I'd also never vote for any Democrat. For me and many like me, it is a matter of Honor and Principle. That is more important than anything else, because our worldview and faith, if we are true to it, demands such action.
If you want to bash me, go ahead. I'm good with it. But if you do, you are unwilling or unable to recognize my individual liberty and freedom of conscience as equally important as yours.

I see we still have 4 or 5 Hitlary voters left on here.......
Trump (X)
Hitlary ( ) This is the most asinine argument made by Trump supporters. It defies all logic. "A no vote is a vote for Hillary!" BS. A no vote is just that, a no vote. Using your same logic, you can just as easily say "A no vote is a vote for Trump!" As for me, Trump is going to have to convince me that he will support conservative principles. At the moment, he seems to be lurching further to the left. I will see what he has to say over the next 5+ months, but at the moment I am NeverTrump*. *ALSO NEVERHILLARY. Shouldn't have to clarify that, but apparently I do for some of y'all.

When Hillary's goons kick in your door to come in and seize your guns, maybe she will pat all y'all with Honor and Principle on the head and tell you what a good boy you are. She may even give you a gold star while she's at it. I can say this about scumbag democrats. At least they show solidarity within their party, and that's why the scumbag liberals have taken over this country. It's why small businesses are ruined because they refuse service to homosexuals. It's why states are being sued by the Justice Department over what bathroom tranny's are allowed to use. It's why people are being brow beaten to accept Muslims as our friends and allies. It's why....... Ahhhh screw it. I'm talking to a brick wall.

Do you not understand how an election works? If there are two candidates vying for an office, and candidate R's voters are coming to the polls writing in Micky Mouse candidates and candidate D's voters are not, then you are handing the majority of the vote to them. It's pretty simple actually. but at the moment I am NeverTrump*.

I totally understand your stance Straycat. It's just funny to me that some people had no problem voting for the lesser of two evils when it was Mitt or McCain but now it seems to be a big deal just because Cruz lost..... I can only speak for myself on this one, but it has nothing to do at this point about Cruz losing. There were several other candidates I could have easily voted for or held my nose and voted for...if they were able to get the nomination. They didn't. NeverTrump.
