This is the most asinine argument made by Trump supporters. It defies all logic. "A no vote is a vote for Hillary!" BS. A no vote is just that, a no vote. Using your same logic, you can just as easily say "A no vote is a vote for Trump!"
Do you not understand how an election works? If there are two candidates vying for an office, and candidate R's voters are coming to the polls writing in Micky Mouse candidates and candidate D's voters are not, then you are handing the majority of the vote to them. It's pretty simple actually. but at the moment I am NeverTrump*.
*ALSO NEVERHILLARY. Shouldn't have to clarify that, but apparently I do for some of y'all.
Your'e going to get one or the other buddy. Which one can you live with? Not really. You need to blame those who are actually voting FOR Hillary and all the other loser liberals out there. That is where the real electoral problem is...the electorate actually casting votes for Progressives for decades.

I for one refuse to vote for anyone who does not at least meet the majority of the Principles and Values I hold as important. I'm glad you vote your conscience and stick with your principles. I just never can figure out who you vote for among the candidates. I figure you're writing in Billy Graham on the ballot for every open position.

Oh, I think you know I'm serious about you sticking to your guns. I admire that. I admired 49er for sticking to his, and anyone who does. I may not always agree with something or someone but I admire principles.

I have a serious question to all those opposed to voting for Trump based on your God based principles: Do you believe in your heart that God will hold that against you in the end when the female version of Satan is the other choice?
Like I said this is a serious question. Just trying to understand.
Right and wrong will never change---only people's perception!

Trust me, I'm voting my principles when I vote for the person most likely to keep Hillary out of office. Some of you need to get off your damn high horse and do what is best for our children. You'll have plenty of other times to prove to yourself how principled and ethically better than everyone else you are.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

God judges our hearts. From the heart, the mouth speaks.
Clinton is a dangerous Progressive. IT is those who vote for her and support her that will be held accountable. Hillary used to be just a former First Lady. But New Yorkers like Trump supported her to be a US Senator, then Sec't of State...positions which enabled her to run for President one day. I think Trump will be held accountable for helping her get to where she is today.

I've typed out a response 4 times now and it totally comes across as ugly, Holier-than-thou and haughty no matter how I reword it. So here it is anyway.
So of y'all are just stupid or ignorant...not sure which...to not understand why some people will refuse to vote for Trump. It may be that some of y'all with such large opinions of us have very little capability to understand the concepts of Principle and Honor. I do not normally post such aggressive posts and sling names, but today I can't help it.
If you line up with Trumps values, vision and plans for America then I have zero problems with you voting for him. If you think he is the lesser of two evils and will support him no matter what so that Hillary will not be elected, then I have zero problems with you voting like that. Vote your damn conscience!
Many of us, including myself, do our best to live, act and vote on a certain set of principles and values. Since there is no such thing as a perfect candidate, we have to decide where the line is on compromise. I begrudge NO ONE who decides to support Trump. Their call, their decision. But for some of us, Trump doesn't even come close to the line where we could knowingly support him for President.
I for one refuse to vote for anyone who does not at least meet the majority of the Principles and Values I hold as important. Trump has done zero to persuade me. If any of y'all have been paying attention over the years, you know I'd also never vote for any Democrat. For me and many like me, it is a matter of Honor and Principle. That is more important than anything else, because our worldview and faith, if we are true to it, demands such action.
If you want to bash me, go ahead. I'm good with it. But if you do, you are unwilling or unable to recognize my individual liberty and freedom of conscience as equally important as yours.
And it is your individual freedom that will cease to exist after Hillary takes over.

From the perch on your own tall horse you are telling me what to do for the good of our children. So you are the authority figure for that? I didn't realize. And mock all you want, it is just an attempt to deflect. It is amazing how I can 100% respect you and your vote even if I would not vote the same way, but you haven't the capacity to reciprocate. "Vote like me or you are stupid and hurting America or something similar"...is that your principle?

All they are going to do is piss off the little old ladies at the polling stations that have to tally up the write-ins. It is kind of odd how they like to hang around pounding their chests about voting NeverTrump. Look People it's this simple unfortunately. The Democrats stick to their party by a huge margin over a Republican does and it is for THIS reason we will lose this election because Republicans have a lot more morals than Democrats and we will vote our conscious. I did not vote for Trump in the primary, but he won and now I have to support him to give my children a chance.

Looks like I'll be voting for Gary Johnson but I won't know until the Libertarian National Convention is over.

When Hillary's goons kick in your door to come in and seize your guns. Is this hyperbole? Or do people actually believe that is going to happen? I've seen it said by several people on here

Actually, by NOT VOTING, I'm not handing ANYONE ANYTHING. That's the whole point of NOT VOTING. My not voting has nothing to do with Joe Schmo Democrat's vote or how many Joe Schmo's show up to vote. Pretty simple actually... And let's face it, in redder than red Alabama, my staying home is not going to affect anything. At this point, I can't live with either of them. Who knows what the heck Trump stands for at this point. He has a different policy position on the same topic at any given minute of the day. Just like at his 5 flip flops on abortion on the SAME DAY a few weeks ago. As I said, if he can get his act together and lay out some clear policy positions that I can support, I will vote for Donald Trump.
Diane: Am I interrupting something important?
Ron Swanson: Impossible. I work for the government.
