With all the chit going on in the state and problems we have that should be taken care of first, the legislature has time to do this. Amazing. What a bunch of toolbags.

Wow, one small step in clarification for man, one GIANT leap forward in clarification for Alabama DNR.

This was always my rule of thumb.

So now with CORN!, baiting, salt, minerals and whatever else, game wardens now will be watching the clock to hear if gunshots were made too early or late by a deer hunter.

Probably will have an increase of folks with bows and crossbows.

Yes this has created a huge problem for the DNR in the past rolleyes I thought it always said 30-30 to begin with? I could swear I have read that more than once. Only problem of this nature I have witnessed/heard is that some duck hunters seem to be confused over the definition of sunset! laugh

Yep, I'd have bet my paycheck that that "verbiage" was already included in the official regulations.

Shouldn't have to legislate or regulate common sense. It's a damned shame some folks aren't smart enough to do the right things and either screw it up for others or shoot someone because their dumbasses.

Chit's going to keep on until folks just throw up their hands at the regulations and quit hunting. Or they'll hunt illegally.

Clem, people just want to be told what and when they can do something, sad, sad, sad. And those same people wonder what is happening to the country.

I don't see how a game warden sitting besides the road at dark, hearing a shot, can definitely say that one or another hunter shot late when there may be 10 or more hunters on a 1500 acre tract of land.

Wow, based on the chart for sunrise/sunset, next Thanksgiving I will have to be out of the tree at 5:10 PM to be legal. That is not even close to what I consider dark. This is really gonna leave a mark on those who choose to be law abiding citizens.
