I'm amazed at the number of people on Aldeer that are so anti-Trump based on "what if he does" type of ideas. With Hillary there is no doubt what she will do, there is no other viable choice this time. ^^^^ This What gives one any idea that he will do any of what he says when he never has before Ben, this really isn't hard to understand. There are two players in this race. Those two being Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Like it or not they are the choices. If Trump only does 15% of what he says, that's a hell of a lot more good you are going to get out of him than you are a stinking lowdown liberal Hillary Clinton. You guys are refusing to vote for someone because he "may" steal your lunch money, when you know the other candidate will steal your lunch money and kick your ass just for the hell of it. Makes no sense to me.

Whomever wins or steals the Presidency, the next four years (if we survive the next 7 months of the current administration) should be interesting. Now I'm going to make like a song and "Let it Go." No more political discussion for me until after the election. No one on here will change my mind. Only the good Lord can do that.

I'm amazed at the number of people on Aldeer that are so anti-Trump based on "what if he does" type of ideas. With Hillary there is no doubt what she will do, there is no other viable choice this time. That has not been my objection. Mine has been based on the belief that with God, there is no middle ground. There is a right choice and a wrong choice and neither of the Republican or Democrat candidates seem like the kind of people God would have me endorse to lead this nation. Both have a host of qualities that are in direct opposition to the things God says a leader or a believer should possess. God said he didn't give us a spirit of fear and I don't think he'd have us give our vote based on a fear of the lesser evil. There is no doubt that God has a right thing and a wrong thing for His people to do in this election. I've done the wrong thing to this point because I've relied on my own understanding, just like most other professed believers on this site have. I have said that I wouldn't vote for Trump under any circumstance but I'm saying right now that I'm going to pray about it until God gives me an answer as to the right decision to make. No man will save this nation but if this nation will humble itself and ask God to lead us everything could change. All believers should petition God for an answer and have the conviction to follow through no matter if we like the answer or not. James 1:5 ESV If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

So what's the solution Ben? You going to vote for Hitlery to spite Trump.
It's either Trump or Hillary.

It's either Trump or Hillary. IMO there is no solution currently. I really don't think I can vote for either one of them as we know who they are. As I have said I expect Trump will win easily. I just think he is a terrible representation of what a Conservative Republican president should be. With that said the word Conservative Republican seems to mean different things to different people these days. I also truly hope and pray Trump does everything he has said and goes down as one of the greatest presidents of all time but if he does not I think he destroys any chance of having a Republican candidate elected for 16 more years which will truly doom the US. I know a lot of you guys can't see my point of view along with a few others here. But I really don't have anything against the Donald. I am just so dissapointed in the entire process, we had the most important election of all time and we chose the one candidate that spent his life supporting everything republicans used to be against and now no one has any idea whether he is or is not what he now claims to be but the majority is fine taking that gamble. I will be glad when it is all over.
