Just another ruling to go up through the system to the Supreme Court. With the potential for the president or Hildebeast to make the next appointment, this could have serious ramifications IMO.

Once upon a time the government respected the constitution and the citizenry. That was before I was born. The speed at which the constitution is being ignored in so many areas is the scariest threat that we face. In November we will be voting for the SCOTUS. Nothing more.

All you have to do is identify as a person concerned for your safety. This self-identification thing might have some perks after all.

Actually, that isn't true. Gun control was very prevalent in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Hell, most towns in the old west didn't allow you to carry guns in town. Hell, in 1939, the Supreme Court specifically held that "The Second Amendment protects only the ownership of military-type weapons appropriate for use in an organized militia."

The 1st amendment was very trampled for years until the mid 20th century.

It may make people feel warm and fuzzy to wax nostalgic. But, an actual study of court opinions shows opposite.
