Working on putting together a setup myself. Bought a press, scale and dies online, purchased some powder yesterday. just need one or two more things and I'll be good to go. With the way things are going, I wanted to be able to load my own in case ammo becomes a thing the democrats go after.

The only time I've fired a store bought round in the last 20 or so years was to test a gun. My hobby is old military guns so reloading is the only way to shoot some of them. When I'm shooting a 100 year old gun I use a reduced load. I probably load 20 different calibers. Only way to go.

I handload for every cartridge I own and several others. About 30 or so.

Rifle primers are pretty cheap. You can pickup 500 for like $12.

I think Academy has them for a dollar or two less than that.

Academy had Tulammo primers for $1.98/100. I picked up 300 for 6 bucks yesterday.

Been reloading since I got a 280 in the early 90s. Couldn't find ammo for it then. Still not many options for it other than 140s. Biggest advantage now is ammo shortages and price jacks mean nothing to me.

They are what the Wolf primers used to be, before they stopped making them. So from everything I've read, they're pretty good.

I've been using CCI, Federal, and Winchester. I'll probably just stick to those. If I bought anything, it would be Rem 9.5M.

I was given a complete reloading setup about 10 years and never looked back. It's a fun hobby to have. There's no bullet shortage here.

I came, I saw, so I killed them all......Vern
