I realize its not a bow. That is quite obivious. Probably fun none the less. Who cares what they call it? It would be just as awesome as anything for harvesting a deer, especially for my children who cant hold the heavy weight of a compound. It should be just as legal for casting an arrow as a crossbow. It has the same arrow drop and wind influences on the arrow. It seems to be safer for my children fingers than a crossbow. Does the fact that it has no limbs bother you that much?

Glad to see some people finally recognize the crossbow as a bow.

My comment about most bows arent bows is that i feel the pro shop setups is a far cry from being a primitive weapon, but somehow you are a purist bow hunter if you shoot a tricked out compound with a mechanical release and hold the weight.

Im for options as long as you arent killing for the fun of it and stay within the limit.
