Go ahead pcp, order a barrel blank. Bore it and chamber it and go ahead and thread that joker. I still think it's cheating to use anything already made as a gun part. It's gotta be a hardware store gun in every detail if I am gonna accomplish a great achievement here. Gonna make the stock out of a 2x8 and utilize u bolts to bed the receiver and double as a sight. I think some schedule 80 black gas pipe might be strong enough, but I don't know where to buy it. Dr. B, from all I can tell it's not illegal in AL as long as you don't try to sell it. It's just 2 pieces of pipe; it's getting tough if that's illegal.

PCP are you trying to go out doing what you love? This sounds like a bad idea! LOL - Reminds me of a Daffy Duck cartoon that came out when I was 3 years old. Maybe those old cartoons really did warp the minds of kids? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRxohDs2-UMI decided schedule 80 pipe would result in a barrel too tight. Looks like I'm gonna have to give up my zip gun dream.

PCP are you trying to go out doing what you love? That's what I was wondering... Hey, you are the guy that the posters in the reloading forum on Shotgunworld nominated for the Darwin award. Guess you have proved them wrong many times over.

Guess you have proved them wrong many times over. If those guys knew what I just loaded up to shoot at the range on Saturday, they'd give me extra credit for that! Those guys have simmered down a lot compared to the good old days. I guess eating crow tends to do that.

LOL, for sure you have made them eat it.
So what is the heaviest 20 gauge load you have now? Heaviest I've ever tried is 1 and 7/8, but I'm thinking you have a 2 oz load?
If I go back to NE again I need as much payload as possible since they limit us to nothing smaller than #7.
