It's been reset to the west every 12 hours for the past couple days...for right now, I'm just gonna hope it keeps doing so.

Well damn latest ensemble models aren't promising guys. Let's keep hoping for an east solution but that isn't looking good right now.

I think the "east" train has left the station. I'd just as soon it kept readjusting west, at this point.

DoA were all thinking of you offshore guys. And nearshore ones too. Fingers crossed land over Hispaniola rips this one up.

If not, it can just keep adjusting west over into Mexico! After all, it's Mexico, who cares?...I used to like Mexico better, when it had MEXICANS...as in, before they all came here!

Ok, so for this morning it appears that it is going to get into the Gulf after rolling across Florida. The intensity and angle of landfall appears to be the problem now. If it rolls east to west raking the coast its going to be a double flood nightmare for LA.

Put it this way... the National Weather Service Mobile/Pensacola office has put this storm system on their front page this morning even though the storm is still way out in the Atlantic. http://www.srh.noaa.gov/mob/

HHs are in the storm now. Looks like a well defined circulation heading for Puerto Rico and Hispaniola. Please Lord let Hispaniola kill it off.

Looks like they have found TS force winds in the outer bands but not much around the center. Still getting it's act together. [img:left]http:// ![](http://i825.photobucket.com/albums/zz178/ronnielipham/recon_AF308-O2EEA-INVEST_zpscjoopfxs.png) [/img]

TalkWeather Here's a good site to keep an eye on with up to date models and discussion from weather nerds. Most recent updates include the hurricane hunters recon finding tropical storm force winds in some of the squalls, but no real organization of a tropical cyclone yet. Certainly something to watch. If it gets to the Gulf, it's not going to be good.

If it gets to the Gulf, it's not going to be good. One of those models has it coming on shore in Gulf Shores and heading up close to Birmingham.

Obviously this is a "best guess" but IF the storm gets into the gulf approximately when would we be looking at land fall. Is this thing 1 week out, 2 weeks out???
