Apparently Trump is changing his stance on deportation, and amnesty. I listened to both Hannity and Rush(both have supported Trump from the beginning) discuss this over the last few days and it appears that Trump is "softening" his stance on this topic. Now hasn't this been one of the main priorities of campaign, he was supposed to deport the illegals and build the wall that Mexico was going to pay for? This is what people have been concerned with all along with Trump, he says things just to get people stirred up with no intention of keeping his promises. I thought he was for "us" the citizens of this country, America first. If Trump loses it will be his own fault and no one else.

I said from the get-go that the one thing that most annoyed me by all the Trump fans was their gullibility on this single issue. To believe (1) you could find illegals, (2) you could deport them, and (3) you could build a wall. Absolute, 101%, tee-total ignorant crap, honestly it's more mythical than unicorns. It's not a philosophical disagreement, it's a physical and practical impossibility.
I made it clear I was a Rubio fan, partially because he understood this issue (as well as understood the solution), and these same people labeled Rubio as "pro-amnesty". Hell, it's not pro amnesty, it's pro-realistic. They are NOT going away, so you MUST legalize those who are here so we can begin to get tax revenue from them.

If y'all don't believe he will "soften" his stances -- just like every president always does between the elections and taking office -- y'all have brain damage. Of course he'll not be the same in office as on the trail. They never are. Ever. Even HRC would change or 'soften' things she's saying now once she gets in.
Obama yelled on and on about closing Gitmo. Is it closed? No. Once he got into office and realized who was there, why they were there, how many were there, and the shitstorm it would cause by arbitrarily closing it -- as he boldly proclaimed on the campaign trail -- he backed off. Eight years later, some of those prisoners are gone but it's still open and will be.
If you believe Trump can "send them all back" with millions already here, or build an impenetrable wall, or that he's going to "win" over ISIS, then get another pitcher to drink from for more Kool-Aid. Because those aren't going to happen with a snap of his fingers.

Trump has, judging by his own words, taken exactly the same position as Jeb had on amnesty. Trump voters would never have supported Amnesty with anyone else but they will for Trump just because he says it isn't Amnesty. His language was right out of the Gang of 8 bill. I thought it was funny that Ann Coulter went completely nuts when she first heard him say it and then , within 3 days, she started agreeing with him again. At least he's not Hillary.

That's it. Trump softened his stance so i'm voting for H. all you never trumper's finally wore me down, i'm going with the hildabeast. No way I could trust trump ever again after shifting his policy.
Some of yall need to pay more attn. to politics and how it works over what the media is telling you. in the last month he has gone from being down by close to 10 points after the dem convention to pulling even in some key battle ground states. If he is softening his stance it is to pull independent voters who are still not decided. One pole last week showed him with close to 20% support in the Black community. That is HUGE for a republican candidate. A softened approach to what to do with 11+ million illegal immigrants WILL help him with independants in these key states. Women in particular who do not want to hear about families being ripped apart, etc. (what the media has been saying he wants). This is a battle for the very fabric of this nation and if the man has to soften some to assure us H is not in office then I am willing to take the shift. Now if you will read what he actually said, he said he would look at what to do with those here AFTER the border is secure. That anyone who wanted to have citizenship rights would have to leave and come back the correct way.

I'm not never trump. I'm always pro constitution. It's almost cultish how any criticism of his positions causes so much angst for his supporters. How do you hold a candidate accountable if you think anything they do is ok without any questioning? That isn't cultish, that is a cult. His words are the very same words in the amnesty gang of 8 bill and the same words Jeb used. It's definitely amnesty but that shouldn't surprise anyone. His new campaign director is a huge pro amnesty guy that rallied republican leadership for amnesty the last two years.

We have said form day 1 he is a con artist and we were right from day 1. Bill, I'm not never trump either, but it does bother me at the sheer blindness of his ardent followers.
In the beginning, they supported him because he was going to round up all the illegals and ship them back to Mexico. Now, they support him because he is softening his position on illegals and they can help him win independents. Which is it?

I don't think they need legalized either and this is the exact issue Trump hit Rubio with in the primaries. Now the Branch Trumpidians are fine with a path to citizenship? It's dishonest. I will never be fine with a path to citizenship. I want a secure boarder and us to try everything we can to deport the illegals, but I still think Rubio was one of the best choices we had. Also, if people really think Trump softening his stance against immigration is going to get that voter block, they're crazy.

I agree SBO ! His mouth is killing him. Just like him saying he would bomb the Shix out of someone. We all think it , but he must learn not to say it and put Libs and moderate Repubs in a tizzy.

Buzzard; I have never said that I would vote for Hillary, I would chew my own arm off before I would vote for her. I have noticed that many Trump supporters act just like democrats, if you don't blindly agree with everything the candidate says then you're a low life or whatever.
Remember how Trump set out to destroy the other candidates by calling them liars and dishonest? Isn't he now doing something similar to what he claimed the other candidates did? Does not that make him a liar or dishonest? Personally; I could care less anymore, I'm tired of the idiots ruining this country as well as those who support them. I don't need someone else to tell me what either Trump of Hillary have done, it's all right out in the open for anyone who has the dang gumption to research for themselves to find out the truth.

I thought the gang of 8 sucked, I also didn't vote for Trump in the primaries. I voted Cruz actually. My point is that this election is strictly about those supreme court justices that will be appointed by the next president. Immigration, economy, etc is all behind that in my opinion and I support him over her on those also. Listen, I may be wrong and if I am I will be the first to admit it. I "could" be wrong about Trump, but I know damn well I am RIGHT about what Hillary will do.
