I am so sick of rain. I can't remember the last day it didn't rain. Some days it's 2-3 inches, some days it may only be 1/4-1/2 inch. Can't walk in the yard, half the farm is still under water. Pumps can't get the water out, it rains more than pumps can keep up with. Got about 700 acres of rice ground to get worked up for next yrs crop and most of it is under water. Wanted it done before deer season starts. Got 2" yesterday and got a storm on us right now that will drop that or more and they are just firing up today. We are at almost 90 inches of rain so far this yearly and the way it's going I wouldn't be surprised if we hit 100 inches this year. Sorry for the rant, getting cabin fever.

I can't remember a year it has been so wet as this one. You drive 100 miles north of here though and it is bone dry. Crazy.

I wish I could send it all yalls way. Im a farmer and always thankful for rain but enough is enough. Lots of work needs to be done so we can play this deer season. Our archery season opens today and it's been so wet I haven't been able to plant plots at my house. Can't even get tractor out of the shed. Oh and it's still pouring rain now.

I don't see how the weather men are so bad at their jobs. Yesterday they had a 0% chance of rain today. Now it's raining and looks like it's a well defined front. Shouldn't that be easy for them? Yes it should be. All the computer models I've been looking at shows a stalled out front. Most of these same models show a stronger cold front in 8-10 days. Hope that forecast holds true

I started to respond with a knee jerk KMA, but I see where you are in the world. I feel for all y'all have been through down there. We sure could use some rain up our way. I would understand if we were as dry as y'all are. I would gladly take all the rain we are getting and bring it to y'all if I could.

I've been getting a bit in HSV (home) but we need rain on our property in Franklin county. Sand Mtn and and Jackson county needs it more than anyone from what I hear.
Jackson County definitely needs it. Been as dry as I can remember in a long time.I could probably count on 1 hand the amount of times that it's actually rained here in the last 5 months. Seems that way anyways.
