organizing the boat the other day, and just got to thinking. what's yalls favorite plastics (brand). i use to use mostly zoom. i still use their trick worms and finesse worms, but my boat is full of netbait. they make some quality stuff, and if i'm not mistaken they're made here in alabama. it's seems like they keep coming up with more stuff, and now they have about everything you could need. what do yall like.

NetBait is headquartered in Georgiana (also home to the Hank Williams Sr. festival).
Love the PacaCraw. Great action.
I'd have a hard time choosing just one favorite plastic. I like something from different companies:
- Gambler's Flappy Daddy
- Lake Fork Tackle Ring Fry, Magic Shad and new Hyper Freak and Hyper Worm
- Berkley Chigger Craw and 10-inch worm (PowerBait)
-- Zoom Speed Craw, finesse worms, trick worms
- Pradco and Strike King make several things I like.
My garage looks like a plastic bomb hit it.

I mostly fish for spots on Wedowee & have been a Zoom finess fan for a long time. Last year I started useing a Yum Paddle-tail worm & Strike King football head jig combo. I think I doubled my production.

Lake Fork Tackle plastics (ringworms, lizards, and twitch worms). I don't know what it is about these plastic baits, but it seems that the fish around here will hit them when they won't hit anything else. I got them on clearance during an online clearance sale at BPS a few years ago for 99 a pack. I got all they had (about 30 packs) at the time in various colors.

YUM VibraTubes. NetBait Pacacraw trailers. Zoom Horny Toads
I don't fish a worm near as much as I should. I'm going to make myself fish them more this year.

Try a 7- or even 10-inch worm on a shakey head, maybe a quarter-ounce or 3/8ths.
Seems weird to have that big-ass worm on a tiny rig but if you can find some shakey heads with 4/0 hooks it's a different appearance than a Texas-rig.

I like zoom finesse, trick, speed worms, brush hogs, the fat albert and Netbait peca jig trailers; Sizmic floating frogs; Reaction's sweet beaver; and the classic Berkley power worm. To name a few

Pretty much Zoom everything for soft plstics I love to fish the Tiny Brush Hog on a shakey head though....You will pick up a lot of fish on that set-up.

Clem, How many you want? I pour 3/16 with 4/0 or 5/0 hooks. Your choice.. Send PM if you want pricing... since I don't have enough time to place an add here nor the funds.. I do this on the side. jigs (round or football head) and a variety of colors. I guess I should start taking photos of my work, huh????
Thanks, Slayer

I like the Wave tiki sticks and bamboo sticks. zoom ol'monsters and brush hogs, gambler gigi sticks, reaction innovations beavers and the old stand by gene larew salty snakes.
I've got about 10 or 20 of about everything made, and they all catch fish at certain times. If i could only fish one, it would have to be a tiki stick. Can fish them on any rig you want.
