hmm, alot of bad ideas that could really cause you problems or get your ass kicked, maybe (how big a boy are you?).
You said you were marking the line. Maybe he doesn't know where the line is ?? I'd try talkin. I'd want you to come to me if I was that guy. Screw with my stuff and you may have a war on your hands that you don't want. You're property or not, talkin could be alot cheaper and less painful.

Wind chimes and a scarecrow. Or place a shooting house on the line looking down into the draw right in front of the stand and place flagging tape on every limb going in to the shooting house. Don't put a window on the back side so he can not tell if someone is in there or not. You also might want to put a tent blind down in the hollow as a decoy during bow season with flagging tape to it. I would do it the week before bow season.

I'd go talk to the guy. All this covert stuff might solve the problem, or more likely it could make it worse. I put a posted sign on a tree beside a ladder stand that was on our property line the first year we owned the farm. The stand was gone a week later.

It is his land, I believe that he should be allowed to put a stand where ever he pleases. Now if he shoots a deer on your land, that is another story
I had much rather be tried by twelve than carried to my grave by six!!!!

Now if he shoots a deer on your land, that is another story How many stands do you have up on somebody's property line facing towards their land? Its just bad form to do that. I certainly wouldn't put up a stand like that and I think anyone who is a good honest neighbor wouldn't do it either

one simple posted sign (right in front of the stand) will do the trick. no need to go all national lampoon on the guy.

Pick up a bunch of those cheep orange vest and tie them around some trees on your side of the line. Make it look like others have joined him and he may move out of the area.

Try talking to him. Most hunters are reasonable. There is nothing wrong with cross easement and I have seen adjacent landowners agree to not hang stands on each others property, but if a shot existed on the line take it. It might even openup more huntable land to you. Sure as hell when you see that 10 point he will be standing on the wrong side of the line.
