The Winchester primers can be loose. Just be aware and don't assume the brass is shot. Yep, found that myself. Got a whole box of em that are useless to me

The Winchester primers can be loose. Just be aware and don't assume the brass is shot. Yep, found that myself. Got a whole box of em that are useless to me Contact Winchester. They'll make it right.

Winchester measure 0.2090 CCI measure 0.2100
CCI are a fuzz deeper too
Went back and remeasured several times and corected the measurements What are you measuring these with, calipers or micrometers, also brand?

The brass colored Winchester Primers are not plated as a cost cutting measure is the only thing I can surmise from the situation.
The older silver colored ones are nickle plated.
Obviously they didn't put a warning label on the box telling you they are undersize. Take my word for it. Buy something else is what I'd do.
Google it and you'll see several things about it on reloading forums.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.
