Who's got one of those little round vacuums that runs all day and entertains the dogs while your at work? Are they worth having or just a waste of money?

Roomba. We've got one and my wife loves it. Works great on hard surfaces. It'll also gets places traditional vacuums won't like under the bed or couch.

My sister has all concrete, wood, and tile floors and she loves hers. Runs all the time I think.

I don't know what to think about them 'thangs'. Lil' bit of money but it seems like it could help. What's the biggest piece it can pick up?

My wife just had to have one, sooooo of course we bought one. We used it for less than a week and sent it back. It kept getting hung on our furniture and it's battery wouldn't stay charged but like 5 minutes. When it wasn't stuck, it seemed to always be trying to get back to its docking station. Who knows, we might have just got a lazy one. 😀

My wife loves hers. Make sure you buy one for the floors
You have. Some are better than others on certain floors.

we have 2 brittany's at my house and are keeping a 3rd while my brother is recovering from surgery. My wife insisted on buying one to help during the week with the dog hair. the darn thing worked good until it ran into a dog water bowl and got water in the motor. A few weeks after my wife decided to call customer service and they sent us a new one free of charge. They have great customer service and i will continue to be a customer. The things really do help out.

They would probably sell more of them if they advertised that it eats cats.

I like mine, but I am limited where I can run it.
It will hang up on some furniture, but it does good otherwise.
There are probably better vacs out there, but this one does it for you.

got a Roomba as gift a few years back. works well when we remember to use it. You will think your floors are relatively clean and it will get a ton of stuff up. (when you check the container).

I heard on radio the other day they've come out with a Roomba gutter cleaner. put it in there and it runs down the gutter. don't know how well it would work.

they also make a pool cleaner, cleans the top and then the liner, all on same triangulation technology the floor one uses.

if you are going to buy one, they count on tax free weekend FYI

I thought the thing that helps the wife when you are not there was called a Jody. grin

I love the rut. The woods are like a bunch of roided up meatheads fighting over a girl.

JBC just set it a time to run. Ours goes four days a week at lunch while we aren't home. Keeps the house clean

My bride bought the iRobot on sale for about 450. works great and is quite but she spends money on vacs like I spend money on guns. Guns make a lot more sense.
