Who uses this stuff? Saw some today at the hardware store and it said it was peanut butter flavored. I looked it up and saw some YouTube videos of deer going to it. How you y'all distribute it?

It doesn't like to be rained on. It'll get very caked up and stink bad. Deer aren't as attracted to it till it dries out.

I use it to top dress corn/pellets in a covered rainproof feeder. Deer love it plain, peanut, or persimmon flavored.

It's like crack cocaine to an addict. It's high in fat and crude protein too. It's the main ingredient in C'mere Deer pellets. Like previously stated, it's best to keep it dry. Deer will walk past a corn pile to eat it too. Good stuff.
I came, I saw, so I killed them all......Vern

try a different variety, like peanut or persimmon flavored. This ^ Deer will walk over corn to get to persimmon or peanut butter flavored rice bran. Well worth the extra $2 per bag As others have said, if it gets rained on it turns into a rice crispy treat.. I had to shovel a pile up last year to satisfy Mr Green Jeans. It looked like dirt, but was about a 2" thick patty

I've got two different places about 30 miles apart. One place, they WILL NOT touch it. Tried several times over the last 6 years and they won't get near it. The other place, I think you could hold it in your hand and cut their throat when they try to get to it. Weird..... I've tried all three flavors too.

My results are far different. I heard and read all the same stuff before trying it and my brother had had some success with it as well. I put it out instead of corn, next to corn, and mixed with corn. In all cases they did not touch it. When mixed they eat what corn they could and left the majority of it. This is at a place where we have 12-15 deer coming to a feeder on a regular basis. We've tried it multiple times now and always the same results. I may try it again on a different property Same here. Mine won't touch any of those rage products either. Guess it's because they're just flavored rice bran.

if its humid it will get moldy and they wont touch it, probably why folks have varying degrees of success

I used to buy BUCK BRAN, it was peanut scented. Bucks love it. As others have said moisture is not its friend !
