Angle grinder with flapper wheels (dont know the correct name) but they are made from small pieces of emory cloth layered. Works great on lawn mower blades, bush hog blades, hoes, machetes etc

I put a brush-cutter blade on a Shindaiwa weedeater...that's how I cleared for my goat pen. Went through 3 blades, a buncha gas, and Lord knows how many hours, but that thing cut brush and trees up to about 8" (changing sides on the tree and cutting again)and cleared about an acre of DENSE brush.

I use one frequently and have always used a 12" mill bastard file. All we used to sharpen one back when I did survey work

Use an 80-120 grit sanding pad for a 4.5" grinder, get it s sharp as you want to and won't burn it. Thank me later

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.
