I'm eating a bite then heading in. East wind about worst wind I could have. Just not going as far in and not getting right over trail I wanted to hunt.

I am in the tree. Went to a spot I planned to hunt, but trucks were already parked in the area. So I went with spot 2. Maybe all the people will get the deer moving. The joys of public land. I did see 3 in the bean field walking in

Ps deer chart said 12:11 to 2:11 is major movement today. There's a minor like 6:07-7:07. If you go for that.

I'm in a tree in Crenshaw county waiting on first light. My cell camera show the deer moving after 9:30 all week so I may have a long set this morning. Same here, 9-10:30 is when I've gotten the most daylight pics last two days

Up and ready in Steele, AL. Sitting over my favorite patch of hardwoods that I've hunted since I was a kid. Just found out last night my family is selling the land, so this is going to be one of my last hunts here.

Waiting on daylight in GA. Already heard two spoke poles bark this morning. Acorns starting to drop really well. Maybe #2 can take a ride home with me!!

Here in Elmore county. I don't care much for the east wind but it'll work for this spot. Shoot straight and happy blood trails.

We settled in about 530. Acorns are dropping all around us and we have a good wind for this spot. Just waiting on the deer to show up.

Set up on a few white oaks, with a good bedding area nearby. I didn't scout this area any before the season, I'm hoping the acorns are dropping. Good luck and stay safe.

Set up in a bottom between an 8 year old cutover and some 12 to 13 year old pines. No white oak acorns yet, only a few water oaks. I'm at the intersection of a trail running the length of the bottom and one crossing between the cutover and pines. The only water in the stream running through the bottom is within bow range of me. This area hasn't really been messed with in probably 15 years. Sounds ideal

Deer piled in on me as I was climbing this morning about 5:30. They had a total blowfest for about 5 mins. Seen 3 coons.

Just smoked a coyote. Had to shoot through brush but I think I got a good hit on him. Best way to start bow season!!!

Got set up early. Seen few but only thing that has been within bow range is a young spike. Most pics have been in the eve.

My damn adhd is about to kick in. It's raining acorns in a 100 yard long and 20 yard wide strip of hardwoods between a 10 yr old cutover and a cattle farm. Everything else between the cut and cows is 30 year old pines and I ain't seen jack.

Nothing here yet but swirling winds Me too. And crows. Been seeing deer nearly every day. Til today.

Had three of four here when I walked in. Acorns dropping all around. But hogs have sorta pushed deer out of this spot in the past week. Hopefully tomorrow is better. I need to get Otis on a warm up track or two. As close as you are to me....if you stick something call me and I'll run the dogs down there and put 'em on it.

We only saw one sneak through right at daybreak. Climbed down little after 9 but we had a killer breakfast! Biscuits(homemade) gravy, hash browns , sausage, and eggs definitely hit the spot now a power nap before football!

Kilt a doe! Is that entry in the neck and exit in the hind quarter? Shot her straight on at about 15 yards, thought I was aiming at the brisket area, but it hit higher in the neck. Still got a total pass thru of the chest...she ran about 25 yards, face into a tree, laid there about 10 seconds and then kicked out. That's the exit hole back there in front of her hip...she was coming up a rise at me, I feared she would spook if she got any closer. Sucker came from dead behind me.

I'm getting down at 1. Y'all gonna have good laugh on me. I did a practice draw and bumped the trigger and let the dang bow go off. I got to try to find my arra when I get down. First accidental discharge I ever had with a freaking bow.

I woke up late, went to an alternate setup that was closer to the truck than I wanted, had a deer that I never saw (but I'm certain was a 28" wide,186" 16 point ) blow at me from dead down wind at 7:40am. And that was all she wrote! Sure was good to be in a tree though!

I saw 17 counting spotted ones, (no bucks) and 6 long beards. Got down a little after 9:00 when it slowed down
Fun morning in the woods, hate the 10 day south zone law. Should have jerky in the dehydrator right now Not a bad morning. Where at do you hunt

Think I'm about to head back out. Going to sit on one of the green (dirt) fields. Have somewhere to be this evening, so I need a quick escape after dark... unless I kill something, then I just will have to cancel those plans Been there, good luck if it involves a woman

Congrats on the kills. Had deer all around me before daylight. Munchin on acrons like crazy. Sounded like a bunch of nut crackers. Couldn't stand up and grab my bow till 6:45. All to be greedy trying for the biggest doe only to blow it. Dang..... Then FUBAR again. Needy eyes checked...

In my quick get to spot right behind the wife's grandparents. It's tuck between a grown up field and a subdivision. Just found out that the grandmother seen a big buck on front of my stand yesterday evening.

I wanna see that video!
I ended up seeing another doe this evening, but it was far off. Then I dropped my bow out of my stand, so that sucked. Looks like I'll be doing maintenance tomorrow after church. Dang man I thought I taught you better

Congrats Drew and Audeerhunter. You 2'guys and Darryl put the hammer on them. Trying to get all my rice ground worked up while it's hot and dry so I can get serious about hunting. Congrats again.

Congrats on the kills. I saw three big nannerheads just as I was fixing to climb down this morning. They were out of range though. Took the afternoon off to watch Bama whip rocky flop's ass.
