I once had a neighbor who thought I was hunting too close to the line. He took my stand down (he was trespassing to do that) and left it on the ground. I went and found him, at his cabin, and discussed the particulars of the situation. Today, we still share a property line, as well as a friendly conversation every now and then. We also have an agreement that either of us can venture onto the other property anytime we need to track a wounded animal.
LOL, I have such a relationship with one of my neighbors. He don't hunt but very little. He has one particular ladder stand, probaly 250 yards from one of my shooting houses, but we have a clear view of each other and when I catch him looking at me with his binoculars I flip him the bird and he does the same when he sees me glassing him. At the end of the day he usually stops by the cabin and we talk about what we did or did not see, recently.
