I am back out here ready to send him another arrow. Best to luck to all of you!
what did he do when the shot happened?

Came in from the east, all 4 ran west. I don't believe they have an idea what it was, maybe.

Specifically him, I didn't hear a thwack, he didn't mule kick. I follow the trail he ran for about 100 yards. No blood or hair. Arrow clean other than dirt.

I'm settled in my climber in a hardwood bottom. I spooked a doe and fawn at 3:00 as I walking in. They were camped out under a white oak right by the tree I normally climb. Of course, they ran about 100 yards, stopped, then blew at me before running into the next county...There's lots of acorns dropping in here, so I'm hoping things will settle down and a good buck will ease through here

I'm riding the hole. Third sit in a row same stand. I've seen 1,2, and 3 year old bucks, but know there are some better ones in here. Not a good way to kill bucks but I'll have a head phone in one ear at 5 to listen to the auburn game

We got settled in around 3 Eli and the neighbor is in a blind 50 yards from me. I'm watching a trail with a scrape on it. The wind keeps changing directions on us but hopefully we can make something bleed this afternoon.

Back in the peanut field. Put a nice stalk on a coyote on the way in. Worked through some tall grass to get 30 yards from him. Drew and stood up because I lost him. He was 30 yards from me. As I was pulling the trigger he started to bolt. Just missed him. I got too impatient. Should have just stayed knelt down in the grass and let him work another 5 yards into the open. Ready to see some deer now.

Bpro, once you decide to kill a buck stop looking at the rack. concentrate on a small area you want to hit. Looking at the rack makes most hnters shake. Aim small, hit small.

Tbest I toll ya deer are allergic to p-nuts !!!!!

Saw a doe with a fawn. Bummed fawn wasn't in range, wanted a nice crock pot meal laugh

Question: I'm starting to see more deer every time I go...but it is always on the way in. Is there anything to do about that? Obviously during gun season, it won't be an issue, but with a bow there isn't much I can do in that moment. Do you just keep going to your spot and "ignore" those deer?

Was a pretty lousy afternoon for me, don't think deer moved (at least not on the land I was hunting). There was a MAJOR movement midday, and I saw deer up till about 3:30, then nothing till dark. Didn't see a single deer driving home after dark either.
