Fireline, 14 or 20 lb test. Late April, the green lizard kills 'em!!! If it's been warm, a Zoom Horny Toad dragged over the lily pads and through the weeds produces, too.

Power Pro braid and Vicious Fluoro. XPS Fluoro from Basspro is some fine line also Every now and then I have to return to the old Trilene XT in low vis green.

ua hunter, on the big worms, you catch a few small ones, but most of the time on them, it's a keeper. I caught some dang good ones this summer on them. bammer hammer, yeah, it's great. I live maybe 10 minutes from Mud Creek, and around 20 from Goosepond. daddyrock, 65lb braid is just as good for frogs. The 80 gives you pretty good control of them, but what I like is you can horse them out of the grass and it cuts right through it on a heavy rod.
