If I ever have one that needs to be tapped,I'll get rid of it and get a better scope. Bingo. I'll be damned if I'm gonna do something just because my peepaw did it for years.

Anyway, a round sent downrange is enough of a jolt on it's own.

When I'm at the gun range, I don't tap my magazines against an imaginary helmet to seat the rounds to the mag rear, either. Some guys do it to be cool or show they've carried over some kind of "PTSD-Lite" ailment or habit from their existent (or non-existent) military days. ![rolleyes rolleyes](/forum/images/graemlins/default/rolleyes.gif)
