Have you considered anything with a rebuilt title that was repaired right? A good friend bought a 2000 Tundra in 2002 that had been rolled and his son is driving it now. Never had any issues with it.

we have a 2011 automatic tacoma 4x4 with new nitto terra grapplers, husky liners, marathon superhides, stainless running boards, shrockworks front bumper, uws low profile tool box. maintained by local toyota dealer.

has a small dent in rear bumper (someone backed into in parking lot) and an even smaller dent behind the left rear tire (i gently caught a small maple in the yard ). both those could prolly be repaired for less than $800 if it's bothersome. has pretty close to 84,000 miles (it's at the farm so i can't run outside and look at odometer right now).
