Stayed in this morning. First time I've missed opening day in a while. The family has the stomach virus. Kinda rough around here right now. But there will be plenty more days. Good luck

Someone has to bitch about the wind direction. I think it will be me. Supposed to be NNW. Which I am facing into. But I'm getting breezes on back of neck, side of face etc. it's kind of a little neck in a bottom. Do you get eddys in that kind of spot?

ROFL . I'm in the same boat. My brother is getting married today. He grew up hunting but never really liked it. Told me the wedding date and I slapped him on back of his head. Lol

So....I'm sitting here drinking coffee with my wife. Could be much worse though.

AC, this NW wind has been straight E all morning. Just had a doe and fawn run in on me. The doe is still walking behind me, that goofy fawn is bedded about 20 yards in front of me

Yeah, well, I always heard there were three kinds of suns in Kansas: sunshine, sunflowers, and sons-of-bitches.

Up in the spot I wanted to go to Monday. Wind hasn't gotten bad yet. Hopefully the front moving in will have them stirring.

2 of the biggest coyotes I've ever seen was running along edge of the field I'm in. Couldn't get them to stop to save my life. Hoping something other than a predator will step into here

0 here in walker county I believe. if a deer was 10 yards in front of me I don't believe I would see it. Eyes are watering so bad. Hopefully it'll die down a little soon. Good luck to everybody

Nothing stirring yet for me...I've already heard 16 shots here in Winston County. Ole Timber2 must be up to his old tricks

Down in a swampy creek bottom with a clearcut to my left. It's really thick so I can't see much. Testing out my new summit climber the first time.
