I had a eventful morning this morning. I got in the woods late due to work and when I got within 100 yards of my stand there was a buck making a scrape about 10 yards behind the tree my stand is on. That buck is a decent little 8 but I rushed the shot and tried to shoot through a small gap in the trees and brush. I just made rookie mistakes. I checked the area for blood and didn't see any so I climbed on into the stand. I ended up seeing another buck (no shot) and 8 other does and one of those went home with me. Thanks man. We hunting several different pieces of property and happen to get lucky a few days in a row. Looks like the rut will be spaced out a little at each place to so it could get real fun.
