I'm on a saddle in thinned pines with thick pines behind me. Had a doe feed through T 730 and just had a spike come right to me when I called.

I ain't seen a dadgum thing. Sitting on a trail in the thick. I do like my Alps turkey chair though. Liking it more and more. Added a thin neoprene cushion Today. You could sit a long time in it.

Saw one more doe and fawn at 11:00 as I was coming down. Sure was a pretty morning!

Pretty morning watching some cutover from 30 feet up. Shot the big lead doe of a group of 6 or 8. Right on time too bc about 30 mins later the logging crew came right by to go service equipment...4 service trucks and 2 tow rigs made a lot of noise.

Sat on a cutover where I could see probably 100 acres. Saw one doe about 9am. It was windy!

Shot a doe at half time when I walked out to the truck. Looked up and several were standing in the pasture. Thought I missed. Drove over there and she had dropped. Backed up to her, loaded her up and had her to the processor before start of the 3rd. Easy way to fill the freezer.
