I want to start loading for my DILs Model 7. Have plenty of once fired brass on hand. It seems that the Remington Core Lokt 140gr is what this rifle has always liked so I want to stay close to that bullet weight. Who has a pet load that they'll share?

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I'd look hard at 130 grain bergers over IMR 4064. I guess the 140vlds would be just as good.

I just found a box of Nosler 140gr Partitions that I bought a few years ago for almost nothing. Saw them somewhere too cheap to leave on the shelf. I got 'em in case I ever loaded for the .260. Got several pieces of once fired brass from the rifle and now I need dies.

That's should do it! I went with the 130 gr. Accubond in my 260 and I have been very impressed with the performance on the 3 deer I've killed with them so far

Maybe some time down the road. This will be my first time loading the .260 and since I already had 140gr projectiles that's what I'm gonna load for a while. I sold a buddy a Model 7 in .260 and he's only hunted with the CoreLokt 140gr and killed dozens of deer with that ammo.

A good friend gave me 11 boxes (220 pieces) of once fired .260 brass yesterday. I'll load him 2 or 3 boxes of ammo in return. Life is good.

thumbup RL17 seems to be popular with this round so 15 should be real close too.

Got my Hornady modified case and comparator gizmos for this round and waiting on toolheads for the badass blue machine. Should be able to crank out a few test rounds this weekend.

The rifle I got coming is dialed in to 120 ttsx with 44gr H414. But as tinkerers I gotta try some others and gonna load some 127 LRX. Rifle has 1-8" twist 22" barrel.
