ABOUT a month before season starts I posted The Gw,s are gonna catch a bunch of hunters that don't go by the book and call your deer in to gamecheck. The penalty for not doing so is stiff. You lose your liscense for 3 years plus jail time.another thing,if you kill a buck ,or bucks and you have the horns in the back of your truck ,you better make sure they are regestered in the system because they will write you up , if not on your liscense. One more major law most hunters don't know.If you shoot a deer and it gets on another property, you better get written permission to look for it.or if you consider poaching on someone's property ,all they have to do is have a picture of you on a game camera. The fine ain't what it used to be a slap on the wrist.it is automatically 2500.00 and 6 months in jail first offense and lose your liscense for 3 years. You guy,s are killing very good deer. But if you tag out now your gonna miss the main rut.im holding out for one of 3 big deer I have on camera, before I dont shoot none mountable deer.I killed one small doe so far, but am seeing a lot more deer this year than last year. Most of my does have twin fawns, I'm not gonna kill no more does, looking forward to the rest of the season to get my 3 Bucks. If I don't get them I had a great season last year. You guys be careful and have safe hunting.

Correct, There is a difference in recording and reporting. The deer must be recorded before its moved, either by the app or a harvest record. If you choose to report it other than the app, such as online or phone yo have 48 hours to do so. And so what if He stops someone and there's a deer in the back of the truck? So what? I suppose he would have probable cause to ask for a hunting license but game check allows 48 hours right? So he asks "have you reported with game check yet?" and I say "Nope. Anything else I can help you with officer? No? Very well, have a nice day." Harvest record. Yeah that's to be done on site before the animal is moved which he will see on my license when I give it to him. I don't know maybe I'm not understanding exactly what it is they are doing?

And so what if He stops someone and there's a deer in the back of the truck? So what? I suppose he would have probable cause to ask for a hunting license but game check allows 48 hours right? So he asks "have you reported with game check yet?" and I say "Nope. Anything else I can help you with officer? No? Very well, have a nice day." Harvest record. Yeah that's to be done on site before the animal is moved which he will see on my license when I give it to him. I don't know maybe I'm not understanding exactly what it is they are doing? harvest records are not required anymore right?

Is the smart phone with app required to be on your person? The GW gonna make you log in and show the app?

I got stopped at the same road block. There was probably 4 GW and a couple of police. They asked if we was hunting and to see our licenses. What bs. This is the problem when people want more laws. Just let me go about my business. They stopping everyone, or just fellers in trucks dressed in camo? Sounds like might be some profiling going on.
