Vortex is releasing their next generation of PST scopes this spring. If you can wait, I'd highly suggest the 2.5-10x. Unless you have high quality binoculars, you won't notice the loss of 2x. You'll really appreciate having the 2.5x on the low end. I called yesterday and talked to them. The 3-15x44 pst is out and ready for purchase. It is a little over $1000 though. There are options on this site for vortex the 4-16x50 for under $600. Pst too
