Got to share a great morning in the blind with one of my boys this morning. Littlest man decided to sleep in so it was just Grayson and I. We ran a deer off walking in at 6:05, but it didn't sound like it went far. At 6:28 this guy stepped out from exactly where the afore mentioned deer had eased off to. Grayson calmed the nerves, took several deep breaths and squeezed the trigger. Bang/Flop, and that was that. One of his better bucks for sure and a great memory. Even better was that we had Southwood and his daughter with us this morning and all got to share the post kill celebration together. Nothing like hunting with your kids!
