I went through several powders when working up my load with help of a few good folks here on aldeer. I never could get the velocity I was wanting until I tried TAC powder. I settled on 50 grains TAC seated at .09 from the lands. Does TAC blow a big yellow ball of fire out the end of your barrel?

How much Varget are yall putting behind 130 barnes bullets? 47.5 grains of varget will turn one inside out but you might need to work up to it. The most consistent load we've come up with in 3-4 different rifles is 49.5 grains of RL-15 and an OAL of 2.200 What are you shooting with an oal of 2.200? My 7-08 is 2.757 and 300wsm is2.800
