That stuff is surprisingly warm, and the price for what it's really worth is a bargain to me.

I have always looked at it online and in their catalog. Finally, I put my hands on some in a store. That crap is heavy. I'm wearing a mix of fleece and down right now. Way lighter and very warm.

I've never owned a single Drake product that made it through an entire season without leaking, having a seam rip,or buckle break. They have great ideas for gear but the absolute worst execution on making gear that'll hold up through duck and deer season. They've sold out to the frat and high school crowd and quit making stuff that actually works and lasts like they use too some years ago. Way better options out there like Sitka, Cabela's, Kuiu, Natgear and several others. My vote goes to Sitka then Natgear for good, well made, quiet hunting gear

You'll get some who say Sitka is overpriced, but it's really good stuff. FirstLite, Kuiu and Arctic Shield also are good.

IMO hard to beat wool for warmth and silence.

Sitka is topnotch stuff for sure. The pieces I have of it I love. Very comfortable, warm, lite, and will keep you dry and all without being bulky

I have some older browning flece lined wool that is warm and super quite. I am not sure the line name but it looks like camo burlap maybe highlands? The only problem is briars pick it to death.

I think I am going to go with Arctic Shield H3 bibs and Jacket found them on sale which put them in my price range. Would love to try some of the Sitka stuff but they are a little out of my price range.

My Brownings are wore out. I was disappointed that they are no longer made. Looking to get a new pair of pants. Are the Sitka waterproof also?

That stuff is surprisingly warm, and the price for what it's really worth is a bargain to me.

Best bargain for COLD weather gear. When I used to read hunting magazines, I noticed a lot of the Yankees were wearing this stuff when posing with their big deer in snow covered landscapes. It is a little heavy but will handle anything an Alabama winter can throw at it. Too hot for everyday use, but when the mercury dips down into the teens, this stuff works.

I have both, the Berber fleece with windshear and the mt050. The mt050 is warmer but not as quiet. Its what i wear when it get into the mid to lower 20's, i ain't as young as i used to be. My favorite is the berber fleece.

I recently bought the Cabelas Wooltimate jacket with 4Most Windshear. I wore it all day Saturday and was very happy with it. It's very quiet and comfortable. I plan to buy the pants before next season.
