The last pick play was blatant obvious the WR was bear crawling against our DB , you have to make an attempt to run a pass pattern and he didn't . The call against bama for unsportsman like should have went both ways the Clemson player had both hands going the Bama players head . Congrats to Clemson they have a great team and i am not a sore loser but a couple called plays would have made a big difference . Exactly. The first time Clemson did it "right", they were not going to call THAT one. But the final one, OMG is was blatant!!! LOL

What about the DB that got tackled while going for the pass near the end of the game. It sucked watching the game when the TV talking head was so obviously for Clemson. I'm so glad next year we won't constantly be reminded our QB is a TRUE FRESHMAN(that can't pass worth a chit). His not passed shut down our running game completely. Not to mention how tough t is the beat the other team and the Ref's. At least Kiffin can say "they never lost under me" !

I thought it was one of the best games I've ever watched.
Both teams gave 100% effort. Bama was missing one key ingredient and that was a quarterback. Hurts may turn into the best QB in Bama history. But right now he looks like Gus has been coaching him. All year long he was inconsistent at best on anything more than 15 yards. He'd occasionally connect on a bomb, but more often than not he was too long or in the wrong spot for his receivers to make a play. He never got better. Clemson noted the problem and exploited it. They didn't respect his arm at all. That's what kept you 3 and out. That's what kept your defense on the field for nearly 100 plays. Clemson made Bama one dimensional and it won them the game.
In simple terms, Bama looked like Auburn last night. A winded defense and a one dimensional offense. What shocked me the most was it didn't get corrected at the half. I have always had 100% faith that Saban will make halftime corrections and dominated the 2nd half. He got out coached in the 2nd half last night. The refs let both teams play last night and I liked it. Wish they'd lay off the reviews, but otherwise I thought it was a fun game to watch.
I don't care for Clemson, but I love Dabo. If the SEC couldn't take it, then I can't think of anyone else I'd rather have it than Dabo.

That is correct I have said all year when they played a game that he had to win with his arm they were in trouble. He just is not a proficient passer and it showed. To many 3 and outs and something like 2 of 15 on third down conversions killed the defense.
If you're gonna be stupid you better be tough.

Hurts led the team down the field and took the ball in the endzone for the go ahead TD with 2:00 to go. I have no issues with Hurts. I like him. Hes a damn good QB and I look forward to him be our QB for the next few years. Roll Tide!

Hes a damn good QB and I look forward to him be our QB for the next few years. I'm with you. I'd like to see any other 18yo football player in America do what he did this year. Another year to improve his passing accuracy and him staying healthy will have Bama back in the thick of things next year. Our D was gassed and it showed those last 2 minutes. I heard today that Bama's averaged 9.5 yards to make on 3rd down. Hard to have high conversion percentage when you have to make third and 9 every time. No downfield passing threat and stupid penalties will eventually catch up with you. Dr. B

Hurt's 40% completion rate is what killed Bama. Accuracy is his problem. He's got the arm strength and legs to run but at this level, you've got to be able to look defenders off and make the throws into coverage and small windows. Jalen had the best supporting cast in college football in my opinion, offense and defense, which is why he was as successful this year as he was. Yes he's young but throwing accuracy is not something that can be taught. At this level, they are throwing hundreds of balls a day and have been since 9th grade, either you have the accuracy or not and he doesn't. Not beating on the kid, he's a great athlete, I'm a Bama fan, just calling it honestly.

Ouch! 82 yards in penalties There is never a good time for a penalty, but Bama's penalties were all at BAD times.

You can't lead a Championship team if you can't pass. It is crucial. If the other team knows your quartrerback can't pass deep, they key on running backs and beat you everytime.

Tua is probably saying in his mind, "I got this."
