Personally, I wouldn't because I'm not sure of his age. I actually think he is probably a younger buck.

Would I have a problem with someone shooting him for the meat? Not at all towards the end of the season and the need is there. I would rather they shot a doe if they were hunting with us, but I wouldn't have heartburn too bad if that is their only buck.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

He wouldn't have been a bad looking buck if he wasn't broke. He's got potential. Gonna keep running the camera. Maybe I'll see a "keeper."
I've said I wasn't going to shoot unless I was taking him to the taxidermist. But I really like to shoot...
This pic was at 10 at night. But if I see one in daylight it'll probably be him.

If it makes you happy, then shoot. Save the head and make you a Euro Mount to remind you of the hunt. If you think you will regret killing him, find you another slick head and let some lead fly.

But if you still have some hot does you still have a good chance of seeing bucks that have not been around earlier in the year. That was the case with the buck I was lucky enough to take yesterday. Never had him on camera this year.

Shoot what makes you happy and don't worry about what anybody else thinks, unless your in a club with restrictions.

Looks like he broke off his main beam and has a brow and remnant of a main beam left.
I have what used to be a ten point on my property exactly like that and have passed on him several times so maybe next year.
Now if your hungry then by all means shoot him if your wanting a wall hanger then wait till next season

If you have to ask us, I would personally pass. Shoot what makes YOUhappy. Don't give two chits what others think of your deer

It's not a good pic. When I first saw I thought it was deformed. Now I think it's broke. He gets a pass if I can get some decent weather and see some deer.

If you get to hunt all the time, then I can see passing on a buck like that if you want to. Chances are you won't ever see him again. If you are like a lot of hunters that don't get to hunt a lot of days then shoot him if you want to.
