Pressure. Not corn. Constant human presence is what makes them only feel safe at night
Presence with intent to harm. I throw out a little corn for my neighborhood blacktails. On a cold morning they don't wait for me to go inside. They even bed down in the yard if they a tending a hungry doe--just wait for her to get her fill. They give me quite a show. But... within two days of the season opener, the does are still coming in daylight, but the bucks wait until night. It takes them about a week after the season closes to get back to daylight visits.
