New SPC outlook has added a moderate risk to the west. I still think this changes some, depending on how well the atmosphere recovers from the storms this morning and how far north the warm sector surges. It has potential to be a really long night.

Man it's blue sky and muggy already here in Decatur. I think the atmosphere is fixing to be fully recovered.

Tornado passed within 1/4 mile from my house this morning about 5am in shoctaw county , completely destroyed a few houses and moblile homes , minor injuries but no fatalities thankfully, this one was as bad as I've ever seen anywhere. Lots of cleaning up to do and replacing houses but everyone is ok. TThe Man up above had his hand on some folks.

Weatherman says it's going to get bad again tonight. After what happened last night, Hattiesburg can't handle another bad night.

Sorry to say it but tonight has the potential to be worse than last night.

I probably long for home too much but we only have a bad storm every ten years or so. It happens ten or more times a year here.

Please pay attention to the weather tonight everyone.

I'm not sure how that's possible. 2 tornados touching down and destroying everything in sight is pretty bad.

In the larger scope of things - last night was a low/moderate severe weather event. Tonight has the potential to be a high impact weather event. Honestly - three or more notches up the severity ladder. The models are predicting a level of events that is probably not going to happen and if they wash out by 50% it will still be worse than last night. I hope in my soul that they wash out 100% but we can't ignore the possibility that they will resolve and we have a dozen tornadoes that take lives in four states in addition to another dozen that do damage. That is the worst case scenario. Hopefully we will see a much less than worst case scenario.

Like spann says it only takes a Nader on your house to be an awful outbreak!
