Lloyd's ain't exactly "Birmingham" proper. It would take me 30 minutes at least to get to there from where I used to work downtown. And that's with no traffic! Is Lloyd's in Alabaster on 31?

The fried chicken and those thin onion rings are as good as ever. That's what I get 100% of the time. But that is how I roll at most places...find my favorite things and stick with them. Golden Rule is awesome, but if we have a big group, then it's not going to work. I eat there several times a month, it's the same as it's always been

Golden rule that stray cats talking about has the best burgers ever Negative, hamburger king in montgomery does Hamburger King is terrific. I've had plenty of both and I'd give the edge to Golden Rule. Either way, both are great!

There are so many good lunch spots:
Saw's Juke Joint Miss Myra's BBQ Joe's Italian
All of which would work. Hopefully we can get some consensus on a place by Feb 1st.

2. Nikki's West over on Finely @ noon. Line moves fast so time doesn't matter.
This is my vote. But I would highly recommend The Smokehouse, back just west of Nikki's a couple blocks toward the Farmers Market. Same food (if not better), same atmosphere, great service, plus you can take your time running through the line and dont get berated for slowing anybody down. And there is plenty of room for a gaggle of aldeer folks.
If there's any doubt, then there is no doubt... The gut don't never lie.

Miss Myra's or Saws would be better for me. I keep hearing about Saws. If we don't go there next week, I'm going to have to try it another time with some of you. Heard good things.

X3- If we have a good crowd we could probably get a table in the back room. Might be easier on seating. Today some ladies from work went to Lloyd's. They saw a waitress eating food off plates before she took the food to the table. They also said the last two times they went it wasn't the same Lloyd's it used to be.

Humh... it's an hour from me in Anniston. I'm "interested", just hate to commit yet. Keep the thread going so I'll see it and not forget (or send out a big group PM to those interested). The only thing that makes it a little worse for me is I'm already coming to Bham two days before that, so twice in a week is maybe a stretch. But I want to do it.
We were on the edge of Eternia, when the power of Greyskull began to take hold.
