I know when I lived in Selma, the black folks there would steal from their best "friend" without any conscience about it.

Macon County has had these problems for many years in the areas around fort davis. Sheriff has not and will not do anything about it unless your name is Milton Macgregor. Even if you used GPS trackers and caught them red-handed, you still may be surprised that convictions will be tough with the juries in that area. My brother was an Assistant DA in Selma. Said some of the blacks in Grand Juries would completely ignore indisputable evidence and refuse to indict. Only way to stop it is by delivering your own justice.
I hunt between Union Springs and Troy which is not far from this area and we have none of these issues. Our campers are never disturbed and I leave unlocked treestands sitting around my camper during the season. Plenty of black folks around but no problems. Only thing that the club operator can remember is a porch swing stolen years ago. Didn't touch a lot of other stuff. I'm sure they enjoyed that swing.

AU33 is just a matter of time before you too become victims. There are no safe areas. The thieves are just stealing in other areas. There are NO safe areas unless they are guarded 24/7 by someone armed.

We decided to buy a 45' container to deter the riff raff.
They'll get in if they really want, but it helps keep them honest. A few game cams are also placed around.

There are NO safe areas unless they are guarded 24/7 by someone armed. Probably true but if i'm around when the come, were going to find out how much a 230 gr 45 cal bullet expands. The areas between Union Springs and Tuskegee have been this way for at least as far back as the eighties. Friend of mine was in a club in this area when we were at Auburn at that time. He had to get out because of all of the stealing. As I said, my brother was an ADA in Selma. WalMart threatened to close their store there if the DA's office didn't prosecute shoplifters caught in their store. The police and DA craked down and the store is still there. Crimes are allowed to continue because the leadership in this county does not care if their citizens steal from the white folks who only come there to hunt. Its the same situation in many of these counties where the elected leaders are all black. Coincidence. I think not.

AU33, I'm sure you are familiar with the old Walmart in Demopolis. It was closed and moved further West because they couldn't keep the shelves stocked. They did it before they were ready to open a super Walmart. They build another small Walmart out of necessity. I heard they did close the Walmart in Tuskegee, due to thieves. This and the constant warfare in Black neighborhoods makes me wonder how anyone can cry about "TOO MANY" young black men being in prison. What is the alternative? It's not racist if it's the truth.

One thing the Muslims have right. Chop of the fingers of thieves.
Have a few men with sharp butcher knives posted at the exits and i bet the stealing would stop.

The officer didn't even turn in the report until Thursday. That was because I was calling everyday. If they had found the four wheeler and trailer out of sheer luck, they wouldn't have even known it was stolen or who it belonged to to return it to. They do not care

Coe, when my bassboat was stolen along with all my tackle, it was very eye opening. For two years I talked to every lowlife I saw in a store or gas station. I offered a cash reward. Finally one told me he knew who had done it. It was two teenagers. Well when I called the detective, he turned on me. I was shocked he didn't welcome my help. In fact he accused me of being involved. Finally the teenagers were arrested and both ordered to pay me $150 each restitution for the thousands I lost in tackle alone. The boat was returned. They had removed the factory Hydra Sports decals and replaced them with Javelin decals. Duh! Long story short the only one that got jail time was their uncle that received the stolen property. I hope you have better luck.

We had several things stolen over by Tallassee in Macon County. The Farm Theft officer we talked to said that out of state people kind of "put in an order" for UTVs, ATVs, trailers and stuff and the locals will fill the order. None of ours was ever required. The landowner finally resorted to putting a trailer on the property by his house and out buildings so that there was an overseer on the property. Pretty much no way to stop it IMO. we just give them all "that look" when we see them. All that will slow them down is people there all the time and making them wonder if it is worth their life.

Coincidence. I think not. Tbere is a lot of truth in that statement. From my Observation the majority of folks who live in Bullock and Macon counties are content with what they have, and do not want change.

Let me tell you who's the biggest theif of them all... white trash on meth. Positively dumber and more risky than the Africans.
Funny y'all just assume they are black because of the locals. I've got property down there and they've been stealing all between the interstate and 82 down into Barbour county. It ain't just right there local.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.
