Congrats young man and you too dad! My son's first solo hunt and kill was pretty funny. I took him to his stand on the side of the mountain and after I got him settled in I went to my stand not too far away but out of sight of his.About 7:30 am I heard a shot from his way. This was before cell phones but we both had small walkies-talkies. I waited a few minutes for another shot but dead silence. Couldn't stand it so I mashed the button and said: you get it ? yep, buck or doe ? buck, you still see it ? yep, want me to come over ? nope, so I sat there about another hour to hour and half before I couldn't stand it and got down and went that way. I called him and said is it far from your stand ? nope. When I got to his stand the deer , a 6 pt was leaning against his tree ! He had shot it directly under his tree between the shoulder blades, for a spine shot !

ive never seen a shotgun with a barrel like that. I bet it would throw a slug a LONG way.
Great picture, and a memory that will last forever.
Dont forget to record it on his sheet and call the stupid gamecheck people, I would hate for his next hunting memory to be one about a ticket.
I love my country, but don't trust my government.

Congrats to y'all and nice shotgun
There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??
