I'm looking for a job, have 2 trucks one with 8k crane with welder air compressor. Other truck is flat bed with 20ton knuckle boom for removing engine etc. Would like to get hooked in with a small construction company. Thanks for any info.

Have you ever considered applying at Thompson Tractor? They used to be located in Tarrant City when I lived up that way. Pinson Valley Parkway is the address that shows up. Or Terex right across the street from Thompson.

I actually worked for Thompson years ago. I have a lot of equipment to take a job like that right now. Thanks for the thoughts!

We've got a Thompson Tractor in Panama City on 231 if the mood hits ya. My first cousin, Jeff Smith was a long time employee, as was his dad, Neil At the Tarrant Thompson. I spent MANY hours sitting on those metal stools at the parts counter as a tyke, waiting on my Daddy to get parts and visit.

They're not in Birmingham but check out Brad Cole Construction Company in Carrollton Georgia. It's about 110 miles from B'ham. They looking for good mechanics.

Try SEC in Woodstock. A good friend of mine owns it. It's an equipment rental place. God knows they got broke stuff constantly.

I hope you find something soon. Someone mentioned Tractor and Equipment memories of my dad and uncle back in their younger years. I would sit at the counter or walk around the lobby waiting on them.
