Anyone got a recommendation for a decent night vision hunting scope that costs $1000 or less?

The ATN xsite fits the budget. I hear mixed reviews. A buddy has one and he likes it but others have had problems. I use a PVS-4 which I got for a song but I think they can still be had for about $1,200 or less. It's old tech but mil tech and tough as hell(for night-vision). It's a pig, though, at almost 4.5# with mount. Mine has a newer Gen 3 tube.

I recommend the ATN X-site that's if you are dead set on not spending over a thousand. My dad runs one on a .204 and loves it. Wifi capability is handy cause you can use your phone to view what it sees instead of looking through the scope all night

My buddy just got one and it's pretty impressive for the money. I think it would get the job done inside 100 yards at night. Sighting it in was easy too.

Tell your buddy to up grade the IR light and he can push out to 250 yards easy

I have the ATN x sight II on my ar and I like it.
I have had some issues with it using the recoil activated video and it freezing up, but if no sd card is in it works fine.
Not too worried about that issue as I didn't buy it to record, just a perk.
