This is by far the most interesting thread I have seen on ALDeer since joining.

I just can't believe that is anything other than a burial plot for a kid.Nothing else makes a bit of sense. How far off a road is it?

From the hwy it's 150-200 yds into the woods and you'd have to go up a steep hill into a flat to get to it

So that eliminates any kinda memorial spot for someone possibly killed in an auto accident..I think someone is buried there.Nothing else it can be.I'd be damn careful fooling around there.Hopefully you can get the LEO'S on board to investigate.Keep us updated cause this is the weirdest chit I've ever seen on here.

There's probably not an acre of land that hasn't had a body buried on it in the last 1,000 years.

That is true but this is the 21st century not the old days when that was more of a normal occurrence.

Hope you get this straightened out. Definitely weirdest thread on Aldeer in a long time. Hopefully the law will come investigate soon and help you get some closure and stop the trespassing on your land.

i still say this is a childs grave. They keep returning around the time of its death. They leave flowers and the oranges may have been one of the childs favorite foods. I've done several searches for significance of oranges and found nothing. Just be careful deadeye. They are very invested in that site and won't like you poking around.

It is a sad situation really and a delicate one too. Looking at the whole thing from where I sit it does look like it'd possibly be a child's grave and like perch said maybe the oranges were a favorite food. I think it deserves attention from the law and investigation about cause of death. Assuming there's a body there.

Is it not illegal to bury a human body on private land? It wasn't that long ago an old boy had to remove his wife from a grave in the front yard.

Yes it is illegal.. The issue is that immigrants (normally illegal)want to live here like they do back home. If your going to live here then obey the rules.

That's my point. This isn't a compassion for others issue, which I certainly have and understand, this is a 'obey the law" issue, which applies to a Spanish speaking person just like an English speaking one. Not to mention trespassing laws...if, it's a grave.

The weirdest thing about this post is that Bham Fred has not chimed in.

I had a hard time seeing the mound (or depression) in the pics.

I'm betting it marks the last known location of a Mexican Panther.

I don't think I would even mess with it. If you, or the law, digs up a body I dang sure wouldn't go back in there again by myself!

The 4th and 5th pics are of the mound I know its hard to tell but I didn't much like being there so my photo skills were lacking some that day.
I first thought I walked in on a meth making party(if theres such a thing)then after I saw everything I was thinking voodoo ceremony of some sort and now I'm thinking very possibly a grave site.
Whatever it is I can definitely say its the weirdest thing ive ever encountered in the woods
