Trump so far has been working on his so called vacations not partying with Jayz or hitting the golf course 2 minutes after an American citizen was beheaded, to me there is a big difference in the two...

All presidents take vacations and they all cost a ton of money so to me it's not really about the amount it costs, it's about how many and when, and what they do while on vacation, I can promise that if Trump starts (in my view) abusing vacation time I will bitch as loud as the rest..

Sorry Fred but my conservatism isn't one to be questioned. I spend 4 unpaid years of my life to advance the cause of conservatism through James Madison Institute as well as the Leadership Institute. Those 4 years were spent in liberal meccas like Philly/DC/NYC being shouted down by progressive fascists protesting the fact a person of a different opinion had come to their campus to speak to likeminded conservatives. I’ve had things thrown at me and even had a few peaceful jackasses throw punches. I’m a conservative and no one’s cheerleader. I will praise Trump for doing things that are conservative and I will criticize him for doing things that aren’t conservative. What the heck are we doing if we don’t? No one is saying he can't take vacations and it still cost the taxpayer money to fund a trip whether he's working or not.

Try to find a story from the main stream major media outlets in the past 8 years that was critical of obamas vacation time or travel costs. That's where your hypocrisy is. That's what you better pay attention to. Trump (with the help of the silent majority) has beaten the media and they don't like it. They won't stop until they gain control again. Freedom of the press has become freedom of the press to control the people.

I don't think that's the issue as much as it cost a lot of money to protect the POTUS without taking constant trips. It costs even more for him to travel. My argument is that those unnecessary trips need to be held to a minimum. Apparently that makes me a liberal snowflake?

Perch, overall I'm happy with the job Trump is doing. That doesn't mean I'm not going to call out problems when I see them. The WH is set up to run 24/7/365 with anything and everything he needs. Anything in excess while we are trillions in debt gripes me. $500k a day to protect Trump tower. That would be over a trillion for an 8 year term. The county in FL will be on the hook for $300k. Those are real numbers.
