No way I wouldn't have dug it up by now if I really thought there was something there. ^^ Looks like waiting for leos is a waste of time where you live.

In all seriousness, this is what I would do as an investigator if I got the call. Like Doekiller said, there is no real evidence of a body other than trespassers and unusual items. Before I started ordering digging, I'd make arrangement for a cadaver dog to run through the area. There are not too many of those floating around. Sometimes they are booked up for a few days. If the dog hits, go to step two and break out the shovels. If the dog doesn't hit, go home, drink a beer and laugh at all the conspiracy theorists on Aldeer.
You need to know, or at least have a strong suspicion of it being a body before digging. If a dog hits on something, you need to do a forensic dig so as to not damage evidence. One of those makes Skinny's digs look like kids playing in a sandbox. It is not practical, nor a good use of resources to do this without an idea of what you may find.

New plan. Go ahead and dig up the area. Dig a square hole 10x10 feet and 8 feet deep. If you don't find anything, cover the hole with burlap and camouflage it real good. Put a bunch of tortilla shells in the middle of the burlap. Come back every day until you have a trap full of culprits. And, just ask them what the heck they are doing there??
Don't give up, don't ever give up!

There is no way I'm going into the woods with a shovel to dig up an area that I think contains a dead body. There are people who get paid to do those things and take that risk and you can bet your hind end they wouldn't be out there alone doing it.
For those in the dig it up camp, seriously what if you unearthed the partially decayed remains of a child? That's something that I don't want to have to try and forget.

I like this idea, only I'd add to haul the dirt to f150man cause he could use it.

Well today is the day I meet with LE and guys this is anything but BS it is very real and I have lost sleep over this. Imagine if it were you that had this encounter and found a potential grave site I'm sure for most of you the thoughts of go dig it up would pass quickly because the thought of unearthing a dead child would weigh heavy on your heart and you'd follow the same path that I have and let LE handle this which would put you on their time frame and patience will have to be in play for the process to be seen through. If they do suspect it is a body then this will be drawn out longer until they can get the right people in place to handle it accordingly

I can definitely understand why anyone seeing those pics would be maybe doubtful of a grave site but when you have eyes on it the perspective will change
