Another vote for a Glock. You can get a Glock 23 police trade-in for really cheap. That's what I carry while I am working in BFE.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

Only every time you pull the trigger

I carry a 43 in my front pocket in a cheap Blackhawk pocket holster any time I've got pants on. Which includes on the farm.
It isn't the best pistol to plink with.
It isn't the highest caliber of man stopping power you can carry.
But it beats the HELL out of ANY pistol that isn't on you at the moment you need it.
And Carlos is full of crap on his straws...

You can't go wrong with ANY Glock. Period. Goes bang every time you pull the trigger, plain and simple
There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

Glock 23 Blackhawk Serpa Holster.. I can not recommend this holster for anyone. It is inherently dangerous. The placement and force of the trigger finger needed to release the lock has caused a lot of good people to AD their pistol - some of them shot themselves pretty badly. That holster is banned at any shooting school worth going to.

I have no problem drawing my weapon fast or slow, retention button takes Little to no force to release weapon, sounds like the folks "you know" that shot themselves needed training before ever touching a firearm

Glock 19. If you go down your wife may need to shoot it. You need something that someone else can operate.

I think retention buttons suck. I can shake a good kydex upside down without the gun falling out. It's not going to accidentally come out of a good holster even without an active retention device.

Kel Tec pmr 30. Light and holds 30+1 of 22mag This is what I mostly carry in the woods. When I see a rattlesnake I get a little crazy. May not hit him until the 10th shot. My other wood Guns are a glock 10mm or fnh 45. Both hold a lot of rounds and are reliable. I only take them when I'm in woods that hold a lot of hogs.

I was referring to the fobus style holsters, I have several just sitting in the closest. I absolutely hate them never could get the hang of removing my weapon properly..
